Bavaria 31

This J&J design from 1999 was a standard cruising boat with modest performance and generally successful interior design let down by a poor galley and small chart table. The fi t-out was heavy, in deep red mahogany, which made the interior a bit dark but the fi nish was good. Stowage was less plentiful than in later small Bavarias. The rig was generous and easily handled but she needed a bit of wind to get her going. A very similar 32ft model was also available.

LOA 9.55m (31ft 4in), LWL 8.25m (27ft 3in). beam 2.99m (9ft 10in), draught 1.75m (5ft 9in) displacement 3,600kg (7,937lb). YM Test Report August 1999.
