Jeanneau is a leviathan boatbuilder and it’s got that way by mass producing yachts that are difficult to dislike for any specific reason, rather than heart-warming in any particular way. Its higher spec Sun Odyssey range of yachts is easy to sail in most conditions, comfortable below and great value. Recent turbulence in the foreign exchanges has dealt a blow to the latter element and that, as far as UK brokers are concerned, has made their offer less compelling than once it was but is she worth £75,000? We wanted to find out.
