Emissions will 'kill coral reefs'
Emissions will kill off coral reefs in South-East Asia by the end of the century the World Wildlife Fund warned.
The Coral Triangle between the Philippines, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea the Solomons and East Timor has more than 75 per cent of the world’s reef-building species and 35 per cent of its coral reef fish species.
The WWF says mush of the reef is doomed unless developed countries cut carbon emissions below the 1990 levels by 2020.
