Three British Marine Federation (BMF) members were recently recognised within an elite group of UK companies at the prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.

Scantrut Ltd, Advertising Services Ltd (ASL) and BGB Engineering Ltd were awarded for their success in international trade at the ceremony.

The awards are respected as the ultimate accolade for UK businesses with winners undergoing a selection programme and decisions approved by the Prime Minister. The awards were presented by the Queen last week.

Scanstrut Ltd has been awarded for its substantial growth in overseas earnings and outstanding commercial success. The company remains the international market leader in the design and manufacture of installation solutions for marine electronics.

BGB Enterprise Ltd has been recognised for its continual exporting ability. The company has, for the first time this year, increased its export earnings in excess of 100 percent over three years to nearly £12 million per annum.
