Public access denied to medieval quay
The longshoremen of Mistley in Essex have bared all in a Full Monty-style protest about their town quay being cut off to pedestrians with a metal fence.
Their bare-cheeked demo was caught on camera and now a full-colour A4 calendar, of the local heroes is available.
“People say what women find most attractive in a man is a good sense of humour,’ says protest organiser, Kate Worsley, “and the Men of Mistley have proved
they’ve got that – and more!
“We were amazed by how many men turned up, and how brilliantly they
performed.”
The calendar costs £5 and is available by calling: Tel: 01207 391 214.
