Solent fort for sale
No Man’s Land Fort, in the Solent, is up for sale…again. Estate agents won’t say what the asking price is – they don’t want to under-price it! But it has been reported that you won’t get much change out of £4 million.
Built in the 1860s to keep out Napoleon, it was never used in anger as the French Emporer failed to turn up.
Read more about these forts in the current issue of Yachting Monthly (November) which carried a special report on castles of the sea.
