Conrad Humphreys’ BLUE Climate and Oceans Project has entered a two boat team into the 5-day Archipelago Raid adventure sailing race, Team BLUE and BLUE Oceans will compete in the Scandinavian event starting from Björnö, Sweden on Monday 30 July, to raise environmental awareness.

More than 58 world-class competitors are preparing for this extraordinary quest through the pristine archipelago on F18 open catamarans. The event will be preceded with a prologue race from Stockholm city centre to Björnö on Sunday July 29.

Teams must manage their resources very carefully, using just the energy of the wind and the crew to skillfully navigate the Raid. They will need to carry everything with them for the five days of the race,as they highlight how we can all leave less impact on the natural environment.
