Terror suspect arrested in Catalonia
The next America’s Cup venue in Valencia, Spain has become a terrorist target. Spanish police arrested a 26-year-old man believed to be a member of the Basque separatist group ETA.
He was picked up on a train between Perpignan and Barcelona and taken into custody. The suspect was carrying bomb-making plans, 3,000 euros and documents stamped with false identities.
Anti-terrorist police sources claim he had been sent to
plan an attack on the America’s Cup.
