RIB designer and manufacturer Ribcraft is teaming up with the RYA, Honda (UK) and Indespension Trailers to provide two 4.8m RIBs as top prizes with an additional RIB to help promote the Youth RIB Championships in 2006.

Over 4,000 children from sailing clubs all over the UK competed in the championship in 2005.

Created in 2001 by the RYA, the championships help children between the ages of eight and 16 test their powerboat handling skills such as man over board and reversing around a buoy in a series of time trials.
