Wightlink Fastcat will link Lymington and Cowes for regatta week
Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries will once again be running a regular FastCat catamaran service from its Lymington terminal to Cowes during the period of Skandia Cowes Week from 30th July to 5th August.
The Wightlink FastCat service will take passengers right into the centre of the action in Cowes, embarking and disembarking passengers at Trinity Wharf.
Commencing on 30th July, the opening day of the world famous regatta, Wightlink’s FastCat will start its daily services from Lymington to Cowes at 0715 and from Cowes to Lymington at 0815. The service then runs every two hours from Lymington and Cowes with the last ferry leaving Lymington at 1815, returning from Trinity Wharf at Cowes at 1915.
On fireworks night, Friday 5th August, additional services will run from Lymington at 2015 and 2345 returning from Cowes at 2245 and 0045 respectively.
The Wightlink Lymington to Cowes FastCat service is once again collecting for the official charity of Skandia Cowes Week, ‘Sail 4 Cancer’ which enables children and adults suffering with the disease to enjoy the sport of sailing. A proportion of every adult ticket sold on the Lymington to Cowes FastCat for the duration of Cowes Week will be given to Sail 4 Cancer.
In addition, all passengers taking the Wightlink FastCat service from Lymington to Cowes or vice versa, will be entitled to enter a free competition in conjunction with Henri Lloyd to win of Henri Lloyd products.
