A British company is selling berths in Port Médoc Marina
A British company is offering marina berths in an interesting corner of France. Waterside Properties Overseas, a division of one of Britain’s longest established specialist estate agents, the Waterside Properties Group of Companies, is selling beths at the new Port Médoc Marina near Bordeaux.
Recently completed and situated at the northern tip of the Médoc peninsular at the entrance to the Gironde, the 800 berth marina has moorings available from 6 metres to 20 metres in length and may suit British yachtsmen who are facing increasing difficulty in finding marina berths in the UK.
Berths are available for purchase on a 5, 10 or 20 year leasehold basis from around £5,500. There are low cost flights to Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Rochefort and Limoges.
Commenting on being appointed to sell the marina berths at Port Médoc to the British market, Nick Byrne, MD of Waterside Properties Overseas, said:-
“With marina berthing in this country becoming increasingly expensive it is a natural development for British yachtsmen to look overseas. This new marina near Bordeaux has everything. Excellent facilities, high quality berths and an excellent location. With the berths pitched at sensible prices, I have no doubt it will prove very popular with a large number of our clients.”
