Youngsters from strife-torn countries will benefit from £235,000 worth of funds being transferred from Tall Ships International to Tall Ships Youth Trust.

The trust brings together young people from countries in the midst of conflict to train as sailors on tall ships sailing adventures.

Tall Ships Youth Trust’s voyages have a history of uniting people. Recent voyages have included crews comprising Greek and Turkish Cypriots, and Jews and Palestinians aboard the brigs, Prince William and Stavros S Niarcho.
