Sheppard’s Marina remains operational despite undergoing a redevelopment of its facilities for 2005. Although its building has been demolished, Sheppard’s will continue to offer its normal berthing, repair and chandlery facilities from temporary buildings nearby until December. The repair and haul-out operations will be re-located to the north of the airport runway where they are scheduled to open during March 2005, together with pontoon berths for yachts up to 20m. The old marina will continue to operate but will be drastically remodelled.
