Skipper of Keyfim II, Ibrahim Yazici, sailed to first place in the Hoya Round The Island Race Family Trophy class in his Beneteau First 456.

She is the only Turkish flagged yacht in the UK, Yazici, 57, told YM. Yazici sailed with a crew of nine including his son Selim,a 28-year-old businessman.

Yazici, himself is chief executive for a company which produces electrical goods.

He sails his boat from Port Solent and regularly cruises the Channel Islands, Brittany and the West Country.
