Mountain men
You meet yachtsmen in the strangest of places, but on the top of Mount Snowdon in Wales has to be one of the most unlikely.
But that is where I met Andrew Hudson,46, his son Tim, 14 and his father Neville, 70.
As we got our breath back I asked Andrew why?
‘I thought for dad’s birthday it would be a good idea for us to have a challenge and get a photo of three generations on the mountain.’
But how could I tell he was a yachtsman? From his jockey hat of course, which had Margate Yacht Club emblazoned on the front. Andrew is the Kentish club’s commodore.
Could this be the start of something?
