Watch dramatic video clips of the rescue of the crew of Baccus by Maersk Surabaya, a 32m container ship, in storm force winds.

The two clips were shot by a crewman on the Maersk Surabaya in the Indian Ocean on 12 January this year.

Keith Harding, owner of Baccus, a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45.2, tells the full story of the incident in Yachting Monthly July issue. 

Of the rescue, he recalls: “We were just a vulnerable piece of plastic against a wall of steel and as we motored alongside the ship I was filled with trepidation.”
