A property developer, Floating Concepts, aims to convert Govan Canting Basin, next to the Glasgow Science Centre on the River Clyde, into a marine village with a 230-berth marina.

The site would also feature a ‘floating street’ with offices, houses, shops and a hotel and restaurants.

The scheme is part of a broader plan by Scottish Enterprise, which owns the site, to transform Glasgow’s post-industrial waterfront.
