Good venue for cutting a deal
National Boat Shows has secured a further three years’ sponsorship for the London Boat Show from inter-dealer brokers Tullett Prebon. Apparently the pin-stripe brigade like rubbing shoulders with sailors and one of the aims of the sponsorship will be to establish a social and business link between the Boat Show and the City.
Andrew Williams, Managing Director of National Boat Shows said: “Tullett Prebon originally signed as title sponsor for one year however the 2010 event proved that the London Show is the ideal platform for the company to achieve its sponsorship aims. We are therefore delighted that they have extended this title sponsorship for the next three years. This commitment reaffirms the Show’s status as a prestigious and well-recognised event with a continuing ability to attract sponsors.”

It is clear the organisers have exciting plans to continue to develop the show over the next three years. The London International Boat Show is the UK’s leading annual exhibition showcasing the products and services of the marine industry. Held at ExCeL London, the 2010 Show, which closed on Sunday 17 January, attracted more than 500 exhibitors and featured some 1000 boats. Over the course of 10 days, 102,655 visitors attended the Show.
The 2011 Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show will take place from 7 – 16 January.
