Dufour 39
In 1983, German Frers designed a strikingly elegant and atypical Dufour on
the outside, but once again, the by now traditional, downmarket interior was
her Achilles’ heel. No fewer than 11 berths could be found in a layout which
featured two spacious double aftercabins and a forward heads. Stowage was
scarcely adequate for a yacht this size and, in common with other Dufours
from this period, the pilotberths get turned into shelves or lockers. Her
performance is very good on all points of sail and she handles well.
