This phenomenally successful little 19ft weekender is cruised and raced as a class in several countries. Her success is down to good looks, genuine trailability, an easily managed gaff rig, usable two-berth accommodation and a generous application of the fun factor. First built by Cornish Crabbers to a design by Roger Dongray – originally for his own use – in 1980, she is still the mainstay of Select Yachts, the company that continues to build her in large numbers. She has a big, open cockpit and a secure anchor well in the foredeck, and contains enough foam buoyancy  to be unsinkable. More modern boats have a higher deckhead and improved
accommodation.
