Contessa 28
This Doug Peterson design was a reasonably sharp performer on the club circuit, which could also do duty as a safe, manageable and docile family cruiser. Slightly heavy steering and an awkward interior prevented her becoming as successful as some of her sisters. She has 5 or 6 berths, a small galley and a clumsy fold-down chart table arrangement. Original equipment and inventory was good and included self-tailing winches and even lee cloths. She is a reasonable sea-boat.
