Peter Cumberlidge is a Yachting Journalists Association member and yachtmaster. He has sat on award judging committees, advised companies on marina developments and designed nautical websites.

Cumberlidge’s many yachting books are published by Bloomsbury, Adlard Coles Nautical, Imray and Fernhurst.

He has written articles for Motor Boat and Yachting magazine, Yachting World, Yachting Monthly, Practical Boat Owner, Cruising World in the USA, Bateaux in France and many UK lifestyle titles.

He has skippered all kinds of yachts, power and sail, often on delivery passages. For relaxation he cruises either a 1979 Princess 33 Ytene or Stormalong, his 1936 classic cutter.
