The Marine Equipment Trade Show is where the world's marine trade gets together to launch all the new gear and find dealers who can distribute it globally
METS 2015: All the new gear
The Marine Equipment Trade Show has been held every year since 1988 in the RAI exhibition complex on the southern outskirts of Amsterdam. In 11 huge hangar-like halls, you’ll find stands big and small housing the marine world’s household names and companies you’ve never heard of. Whether it’s a multinational major player looking to expand into new markets, or a one-man-band with a bright idea and a bit of gumption, you’ll find them here pitching.
Or rather, you won’t, because it’s a trade show and not open to the public. That’s why we, at Yachting Monthly, decided that it’s our job to share with you the hits of the kit, the gear that’s going to appear in your chandleries next year. It’s broken down into the following categories: Electronics, Clothing, On deck, Below deck, Safety, Systems and Trade. It’s where you’ll find: All The New Gear!
