Hobie Cat to circumnavigate UK to raise £100,000 for hospice
Two UK sailors are hoping to raise over £100, 000 for charity by circumnavigating the UK in a Hobie Cat.
Fin Mitchell and Stuart Newton will set off on 1 June from Salcombe, Devon in their 18-foot Hobie Pacific catamaran, and aim to finish the 2, 000 mile trip by late August.
They are supporting Rainbows, an 8-bed children’s hospice in Leicestershire, and are looking for sponsorship to cover the costs of a safety boat and caravan to accompany the catamaran around the UK.
