The 11th one-day Blue Water Rallies/Yachting Monthly long distance cruising seminar will be held during Southampton Boat Show on 15 September. Yachtsmen will be able to hear the experiences of our panel: Nigel Calder expert on boat maintenance, rally organisers Peter Seymour and Tony Diment. Circumnavigators Alistair and Carolyn Roberts will also be able to answer questions.Alistair sailed in the 2003-05 rally in a 20-year-old Warrior 38. They will be presenting a slide show of their 22-month adventure.
The seminar costs £80 per person or £140 per couple.

Entries for Blue Water Rally No.7 from 2007-9 already exceed 35, with yachts from nine nations due to start at Gibraltar on 28 October. The Blue Water Rally 2007-9 will follow a formula established over 12 years. Throughout the event there is the umbrella of a professional support team in over 20 ports of call aimed at minimising problems and maximising enjoyment and safety of crews as they sail the dream.

Although the rally provides camaraderie and mutual support, the organisers strongly encourage independent cruising.
