Teenage wake-boarder Nick Peterson was attacked and eaten, by what is believed to have been two great white sharks, just six miles from Adelaide, South Australia.

South Australia Sea Rescue Squadron officer Fraser Bell told how the attack happened: ‘He fell off the surfboard and the shark appeared and took him. It tore him apart….apparantly it tore him in half and the other shark came in and trook the rest.’

The 18-year-old’s death is the sixth shark fatality this year.
