Journalist Dennis Scillicorn, 69, has rowed his inflatable dinghy around the Isle of Wight in a 19 hour passage – spread over three days.

Scillicorn left Cowes and rowed via the Needles back to Cowes landing at Freshwater Bay and Bembridge.

He was assisted in his pulling power by the Queens Harbour Master who liased with both the Coastguard and local trawlers.
