The ARC yacht Oystercatcher XXV, an Oyster 72, has been dismasted and is motoring to the Cape Verde Islands.

Her skipper Richard Matthews and his crew are heading for the port of Mindelo. None of them were injured.

Oystercatcher was one of the more southerly ARC yachts at the time, in a
position to the west of the island of Santo Antão.
