The Whyte & Mackay Earls Court Boat Show gets underway on Friday, 30 November.

On stage to open the show will be Prince’s Trust Ambassadors Gabby and Kenny Logan, stars of BBC 1’s Strictly Come Dancing. Kenny and Gabby are both keen sailors. They will be joined by Rod Stewart’s wife model Penny Lancaster. Penny, Kenny and Gabby will be cutting the ribbon to open the show.

Alongside them on stage will be Guests of Honour including the Hon. Alexandra Shackleton – granddaughter of legendary Arctic explorer Earnest Shackleton. Also lending their support will be Olympic hopefuls Sarah Webb MBE, Sarah Ayton MBE and Pippa Wilson – aka ‘Blondes in a Boat’.

Friday is press and preview day with the show opening to the public at 1000 on Saturday, 1 December.

The YM team will be producing a video preview of the show with the cameras rolling as soon as the doors open at 1200. Check back on the YM homepage on Friday afternoon to see if the show lives up the hype.
