This week sees the start of the British Classic Yacht Club Regatta at Cowes from 16 to 23 July 2005.

It is being hosted by the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club and this year will see an invitation to 6M, 8M and 12M yachts to race as International Class.

The formal racing programme starts on Wednesday 20 July with the Classic Round The Island Race.
