The Crown Estate has bought Burnham Yacht Harbour on the River Crouch in Essex, from East Coast Marinas. The marina includes 350 fully serviced pontoons, boatyard, chandlery, yacht brokers and restaurant.

The sale constitutes all the land, buildings, seabed, fixed assets and pontoons that form part of the marina. Burnham Yacht Harbour Marina Limited has entered into a 50-year lease with The Crown Estate to operate the marina.

The Crown Estate bought Deganwy Marina in Wales in January and Scotland’s Rhu Marina in April.
