A couple took to their liferaft after their motor yacht caught fire three miles off Peveril Point, Dorset.

The couple – a man aged 58 and a woman aged 38 – were picked up by Swanage lifeboat.

The motor yacht eventually sank in Poole Bay in 25 m of water.
