Documentary maker looking for testimony from those rescued by Swanage RNLI lifeboat and her volunteer crew
Ever been rescued by Swanage lifeboat?
Wall to Wall Media, the same company that brought you celebrity genealogy show Who do you think you are? is making a documentary for ITV called Above and Beyond, which will celebrate the good work of the RNLI Swanage lifeboat volunteers.
The hour-long show, currently scheduled to air on Christmas Eve later this year, will feature stories from rescues carried out by the Swanage RNLI lifeboat volunteers and the production company is now looking for people who have been rescued within the last 30 years to share their dramatic memories of rescue.
‘We appreciate that the circumstances surrounding rescues may have been frightening and stressful, therefore we understand if some people not wish to revisit those times,’ said Wall to Wall Media’s Laura Frost. ‘However, we do feel it is important to highlight the 24/7 commitment of the volunteers and the incredible service that they provide.’
