Great Britain has won it’s first Gold Medal in the Olympics with thanks to the sensational trio Shirley Robertson and her Yngling crew Sarah Ayton (24) and Sarah Webb (27). Robertson and her team mates were overwhelmed at winning a day early with one race to spare. The success has given the GB Team a real boost. The girls were welcomed back ashore by fellow Olympic team mate Ben Ainslie who despite the rocky start is looking to match Robertson’s achievement of a second Olympic Gold.
