The world premiere of Hallberg Rassy’s replacement for its 39, the HR 40, is to take place at an Open House Weekend at Hallberg-Rassy in Ellös, Sweden, 23-25 August.

Designed by Germán Frers, the 40 features a contemporary interior design, as in the HR 43, as well as a longer waterline, and a lower freeboard and slightly higher superstructure to give greater window area. It has flush mounted skylights in forward and aft cabins.
