Second trimaran capsizes in transatlantic race
Newcastle dentist Ross Hobson, racing the Class 3 trimaran Ideal
Stelrad in the Route du Rhum capsized on Tuesday night,
1,760 miles from the finish line.
He was being battered by rough and confused seas after a second depression hit the area.
Hobson was rescued by the cargo ship Carmen. The ship is bound for Spain where she is due to dock on 12 November.
