The 2007 RYA Sail Cruise most likely route will include stops at Poole, Cherbourg, Guernsey and Alderney and is scheduled to take place during late June / early July.

The fleet is normally made up of boats of 30 – 40 ft (9-12 m) but boats outside these limits are welcome to apply. Costs are anticipated to be in the region of £400 per boat including skipper and mate with additional charges for further crew members.

Applications are assessed based on the mileage and or qualifications of both the skipper and the crew. It is not compulsory to have a specific qualification. The ideal participant will be crossing the channel and/or venturing to the Channel Islands for the first time. Sailors will have sailed outside of sheltered cruising grounds such as the Solent and will ideally have completed a 50M passage.
