The 6,395 tonne Maltese cargo vessel has been recovered and is now safely berthed in Falmouth but some of her cargo is still at sea.

Much of the Kodima’s payload of pine was originally washed ashore when the coaster was stranded in Whitsand Bay, Cornwall, two weeks ago but Brixham Coastguard are now issuing regular warnings that some of it has been swept out to sea again and may pose a risk to mariners off the West Country coast.
