James Brooke, managing director of the Earls Court Boat Show has announced a new partnership with Carlsberg for the 2008 show.

The brewers join distillers Whyte & Mackay, who will continue to support the ECBS. 

‘Following a successful show at Earls Court in December, and now what seems like is going to be a successful show at Excel, it is clear those that said two shows cannot co-exist in London have been proved wrong, and I believe much of the potential market is still un-tapped. Our show is quite different to the show run by National Boat Shows at Excel, and always will be. Our two measures of success have been the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received from both exhibitors and visitors, and not a head count of visitors,’ said Brooke.
