Two-day regatta raises money for Sailing4Cancer
Over 350 solicitors and barristers took to the Solent last week for a two-day regatta to raise money for a Cancer charity.
Every year the Manches Cup pits the legal sector’s best
sailors against each other. Law firm Banks Kelly won this year’s race in Larissa, a Bavaria 36 (pictured above).
Simon Boulding, from regatta organisers Britannia Corporate
Events, said: “On a final count we have managed to raise over £5000 for
Sail4Cancer which they are thrilled about. This money is going towards their
Teenage Sailing Weekends for this year to help youngsters with cancer regain
their confidence.”
