A Cornish fisherman was dragged over the side of his boat five miles south of Falmouth Bay when he got caught up in his nets.

He managed to kick off his boots and use the same nets as a ladder to climb back aboard.

Falmouth lifeboat then took him ashore for hospital treatment – the sea temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius.
