The London Boat Show 2016 will be held in its usual Docklands home at ExCel London from Friday 8 January to Sunday 17 January.

Advance tickets cost from £10 and familes can bring two children under the age of 15 for free with each adult. Other concession and ticket details can be found at: www.londonboatshow.com.

Now in its 62nd year, the annual London Boat Show aims to inject an air of excitement and innovation into its usual range of displays, exhibitors, talks and events.  The show will cover
the equivalent of six full-sized football pitches and will kick-start the 2016 boating calendar by hosting over 300 marine brands exhibiting thousands of products, services and boats from leading British and international companies. Exhibitors at the show include boat builders, clothing brands and retailers, travel operators and watersports companies.

New features for this year’s event include the ‘60’s Revival’ attraction which aims to ‘transport visitors back to the swinging 60’s – an era that saw the first man to walk on the moon, The Beatles, the arrival of the Mirror Dinghy, and Sir Francis Chichester becoming the first person to sail singlehanded around the world.’

There will be a ‘Mediterranean Bay’ pool featuring watersports demonstrations, opportunities to get out on the water, and the chance to learn how to moor a boat in a typically tight Mediterranean-style berth. ‘The London Boat Show Theatre’ will feature some of the world’s boating experts talking on topics ranging from technology and innovations to engine maintenance and round-the-world expeditions.
