A motor-boater who hit rocks in Belfast Lough sent off a Mayday call and was rescued along with his four crew by the inshore lifeboat.

One of the crew – a female – suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital.

Meanwhile the 35ft motor cruiser, Princess Jenny, was towed to Bangor Harbour and hoisted out where it was found the hull was damaged.
