The UK Sailing Summit has been renamed UK Sailing. Now part of the British Marine Federation, UK Sailing’s main task is to encourage and increase participation in the sport of sailing.

UK Sailing chairman, Paul Strzelecki of marine clothing manufacturer Henri Lloyd said: “We currently have just over 100 members and are confident that this will grow significantly in the next few months. The general feeling among our membership is that sailing deserves a higher profile. We are working with the RYA to produce a strategy for the future growth of sailing as a sport with the ultimate benefit to our members of market growth for their products.”
