Cruising Association's latest move
Sailors anxious about shallow North Sea crossings will get help from a newly launched forum this month. The Cruising Association is setting up a North Sea ‘Section’ where members can share experiences, offer advice and plan cruises.
The section area will cover the North Sea from Dover up the east coast to the Orkney and Shetland Islands on the UK side, and from Dunkirk to the River Elbe on the Continent.
The Section will also offer NorthSeaNet for the exchange of information while members are cruising.
The new section will be officially launched at the 2013 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show.
