A yacht which grounded in Poole Harbour lost its inflatable dinghy with three children aboard – two girls and a boy.

The parents called up the Coastguard and a lifeboat picked them up as they drifted seawards in Red Horn Lake.

Parents and children were re-united later at Poole Quay.
