The Poole Harbour Boat Show is growing each year and in May 2016 will feature local sailing club races and tall ships as well as a host of other nautical exhibitors
The Poole Harbour Boat Show, sponsored by Sunseeker will bring together a showcase of yachts and motor cruisers, tall ships, marine equipment, watersports gear and clothing, with on the water demonstrations, fireworks as well as a programme of free family entertainment.
The show will be open to the public on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May from 1000 to 1800. It will be held on Poole Quay and at the Poole Quay Boat Haven marina. It is free to attend, thanks to the support of the Poole Harbour Commissioners and sponsors Bates Wharf Marine Sales, Coleman Insurance, Elite Signs, Humphries Kirk law firm, PSP Logistics, Sibbett Gregory, Sunseeker and the Westover Group.
On display, there will be the latest watercraft, marine-related products, such as electronics and finance, kite and paddle boards and clothing. Information will also be available on water safety, sailing schools and training courses. Exhibitors include Weird Fish, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Rockley Watersports, Ribeye, British Marine Wessex, The Watersports Academy, Jetski Safaris and Quay Holidays.
A programme of entertainment and live music will feature on the Sunseeker Sessions music stage, including soul and jazz 11-piece band Harry Hammersmith and the Flyovers, the Sunseeker Renegades and The Mighty Trumpet Company.
Local sailing and yacht clubs will be racing in the harbour, and there will be demonstrations from the RNLI and Poole Harbour tug and pilot boats.
