Sailing schoolboy Mike Perham, 17, is within 1,400 miles of Portsmouth as he crosses the North Atlantic in Totallymoney.com his Open 50.

He will be the youngest sailor to make a solo circumnavigation when he arrives back in the UK.

His father, Peter, told YM that the BBC, ITN, and CNN TV cameras will be there for his arrival. More importantly will be his family including father, mum Heather, and sister Fiona.
