Ellen MacArthur’s 75ft trimaran B&Q will be sailed around to the River Thames for a big thank-you to her supporters – but not be her as she is having a month off from the sea – instead Ellen will join the boat for the celebrations once she is in the river.

The activities will centre around the trimaran navigating the River Thames from Greenwich up to Tower Bridge before returning to a pontoon close to Greenwich Pier.

Here Ellen will disembark to appear on stage in Cutty Sark Gardens to talk about her 71 day, 14 hour, 18 minute and 33 second record voyage around the world at 12.30 pm.
