Web cam of Southampton Boat Show
Virtual visitors to the Southampton Boat Show can log on the PSP Southampton Boat Show’s website to view live streaming of the show being built in real time. Three webcams have been placed strategically throughout the show grounds, giving visitors the chance to see exactly what is going on as construction for the show’s celebratory 40th year takes place.
Camera one overlooks the popular Hydropool Marina, which measures an impressive 1.6km in length. Monday 8 September sees the majority of boats arrive at the marina, building up to another key date – Friday 12 September: Press and Public Preview Day.
Camera two streams images from Solent Park, while camera three shows construction in Mayflower Park; both giving spectators the chance to watch stands being built and some spectacular boat lifting.
Andrew Williams, Managing Director of NBS, comments: “We’ve had webcams charting the progress of our London Show before, which proved to be a big hit on the website. This will be a first for the PSP Southampton Boat Show and will give our visitors the chance to see the amount of time and effort that goes into putting the show into our boat shows.”
